This morning I received an e-mail from a very successful sales person I know. He was inviting me to attend an interesting tradeshow and event in Florida next month. It was a great invitation, but I am unable to attend, however I was more intrigued with the way he signed-off than anything else.


“The highest compliment my clients can give me is the referral of their family, friends and business associates.  Thank you for your trust.”


This is a great way to remind people that you want referrals and that you need their help in getting them. More importantly, it’s a great but simple referral genrating system. Everyone who gets an e-mail from him is reminded that he appreciates referrals.
